About Nature Connections
Mindful practices which are anchored in the wonder of the natural world offer an immediacy of sensory experience that support a more embodied awareness and deepening of our connection to ourselves, one another and the earth that holds us
Throughout the year, Nature Connections partners with many of the organizations in the Boston area that are dedicated to preserving the rich biodiversity in these habitats. Within these environments, we offer mindful walks ranging from a couple of hours to half day excursions. Retreats are usually day-long though may be multi-day events. All offerings require advanced registration while some, such as our courses, are tailored to specific groups and organizations.
Our partners have included The Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Arnold Arboretum, Hale Education Center, Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, Sudbury location, Broadmoor, Drumlin Farm, Ipswich River and Habitat Massachusetts Audubon Sanctuaries, Neponset River Greenway , The Middlesex Fells, Catherine Stone Island and the Boston Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club.
“ each exercise flowed into the next so naturally. I tend not to speak up in groups but the environment Barbara created made me comfortable to do so. The location was beautiful and encouraged both peace and concentration”
